East Africa Business Summit 2014 Live

The last decade has witnessed a notable turnaround in the economic fortunes of Africa, including East Africa. East Africa’s economies have prospered but this prosperity has not been inclusive. (UNDP, 2013) This trend is not equitable and therefore, it threatens social stability and the sustainability of our economies. The 2014 Summit will be the sixth summit of its kind and has the theme “Positioning East Africa for Inclusive Prosperity in 2020 and beyond.” It is critical for business leaders to understand and position their organizations to capitalize on this trend while appreciating the need to be adopt inclusive business models.
